The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County is seeking 5AmeriCorps STEM Specialists to bring exciting, hands‑on STEM learning experiences to elementary students during our after‑school programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for college students, future educators, STEM majors, or anyone passionate about working with youth and making a positive impact in the community.
This is an AmeriCorps national service position, not a traditional hourly job.
Members commit to completing two 300‑hour service terms during the school year:
This experience provides valuable teaching, leadership, and community service experience while helping prepare you for careers in education, STEM, or youth development.
Receive a $4,800 living allowance per service term, paid bi‑weekly throughout each term (stipend‑not hourly pay).
After successfully completing each term, you'll earn a $1,565.08 Segal AmeriCorps Education Award, which can be used toward qualified educational expenses or eligible student loans.
