Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake is seeking a Youth Development Professional (YDP) to support STEM-focused youth programs in partnership with AmeriCorps. This role emphasizes academic success, strong character, and healthy lifestyles, delivering engaging activities and mentorship to club members.
The position is 25 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential additional hours in summer. AmeriCorps Education Award eligibility and health-friendly benefits accompany the role.

In partnership with AmeriCorps, STEM Youth Development Professionals (YDP) facilitate fun, engaging, and age-appropriate STEM-related activities for youth or teens from diverse backgrounds. Using our three priority outcomes - academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles - as a guide, Youth Development Professionals run programs, offer support, and ensure that every Club Member has an Optimal Club Experience that sets them up for lifelong success.
Successful YDPs have a passion for serving others and contributing to the well-being of the community at large. Youth Development Professionals have the ability to connect with young people and offer supportive relationships. They are team players willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that Club Members are safe, recognized, and given the opportunity to learn new skills.
