Job summary

The University of Vermont seeks a Student Success PC3 X to lead a cohort-based learning community for STEM majors promoting scholarly excellence and leadership development to enable students to become change leaders in STEM. Reporting to the Director of the Center for Academic Success, you will provide program leadership, manage day-to-day operations, build community, and offer direct student support.

You will coordinate academic year programming and a six-week Summer Bridge for incoming

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience in STEM-based programs or similar programs supporting college student success.
• Experience in program oversight, building welcoming and inclusive communities, student leadership development, educational program design and facilitation, communications and event planning.
• Ability to integrate and effectively use digital platforms, tools, and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cohort-based learning community for STEM majors promoting scholarly excellence and leadership development to enable students to become change leaders in STEM fields.
• Provide program leadership and manage day to day operations, build community, offer direct student support, cross-campus collaboration, and leadership development.
