Job summary

ARCTOS, a DCS company, seeks a Site Coordinator to lead the Next-Gen Discovery program at USAFA in Colorado Springs. You will run week-long STEM camps for middle schoolers and coordinate internships for high school and college students, reporting to WPAFB program managers and collaborating with schools, parents, and local communities.

The role requires strong communication, program management experience, and the ability to coordinate logistics, safety, and curriculum delivery on a busy military

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; STEM background or education experience is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year in project management, educational coordination, or similar leadership role.
• U.S. Citizen eligible for NACI/SF85 clearance for base access.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting to leadership, schools, parents, and students.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic database/project mgmt tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Program Management & WPAFB coordination; liaison between installation and WPAFB program managers.
• Serve as primary local contact between USAFA and Next-Gen Discovery program managers at WPAFB.
• Ensure brand, values, and curriculum are implemented with high quality and professionalism.
• Manage local program data, track student metrics, and maintain inventory of laptops and kits.
• Coordinate Summer STEM Camps: secure locations, set schedules, and prepare materials.
• Recruit, onboard, and prepare local camp teachers with necessary curriculum.
• Coordinate base tours, museum visits, and recruit SMEs for demos.
• Attend camps daily to monitor safety and assist teachers as needed.
• Recruit and match HS/college students with Air Force mentors for internships.
• Coordinate onboarding, base access, and CAC security processing.
• Conduct welfare checks with interns and mentors throughout the summer.
• Organize professional development events and final student presentations.
• Develop community outreach and recruitment with local schools and organizations.
• Promote program through local media, base public affairs, and social channels.
