Job summary

ARCTOS a DCS company seeks a Site Coordinator to lead the Next-Gen Discovery program at USAFA in Colorado Springs, CO. You will manage local operations, run summer STEM camps, and coordinate student internships with Air Force mentors.

You will liaise with WPAFB and schools, ensure safety, accuracy, and curriculum fidelity, and oversee logistics, procurement, and reporting for a premier STEM outreach initiative.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (STEM background or education experience is a major plus).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in project management, educational coordination, or a similar leadership role.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a favorable government trustworthiness determination (NACI/SF85) for base access.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to base leadership, school administrators, parents, and students.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic database/project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Program Management & WPAFB Coordination: Serve as the primary local contact and conduit between the installation and the Next-Gen Discovery Program Managers at WPAFB.
  • Summer STEM Camps (Craftsman Phase): Secure camp locations, set up schedules, recruit and prepare local teachers, and coordinate demonstrations.
  • Student Internships (Junior Apprentice & Apprentice Phases): Recruit and match students with Air Force mentors; manage onboarding and CAC processing.
  • Community Outreach & Recruitment: Build relationships with schools and organizations; manage applications and promote the program.
