Job summary

ARCTOS a DCS company seeks a Site Coordinator to lead the Next-Gen Discovery program at USAFA in Colorado Springs. You will run week-long STEM camps for middle schoolers and coordinate internships for high school and college students, in collaboration with WPAFB management.

You will manage local data, recruit and onboard teachers, secure camp sites, and oversee safety, logistics, and CAC processing. Strong communication with schools and parents is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (STEM background or education experience is a major plus).
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in project management, educational coordination, or a similar leadership role.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a favorable government trustworthiness determination (NACI/SF85) for base and network access.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to base leadership, school administrators, parents, and students.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic database/project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary local point of contact and conduit between the installation and the Next-Gen Discovery Program Managers at WPAFB.
• Ensure the Next-Gen Discovery brand, core values, and curriculum are implemented with high quality and professionalism.
• Manage local program data, track student metrics, and maintain inventory of program laptops, kits, and technology.
• Recruit, onboard, and prepare local camp teachers; ensure they have all necessary classroom materials and curriculum.
• Coordinate base tours, museum visits, and recruit local SMEs for camp demonstrations.
• Attend camp each day to monitor safety, manage student behavior, and support teachers.
