Society for Science seeks a STEM Outreach Associate Specialist to help run and grow the STEM Outreach Programs within the Science Education Programs department. This full-time role offers hybrid work in the DC area and involves data management, participant communication, and event support.
Responsibilities include administering payments, maintaining datasets in Dynamics, and assisting educators. Travel during competition weeks is required, with a 37.5-hour workweek and standard EST hours.
The STEM Outreach Associate Specialist will assist the day-to-day operations and continued growth of the STEM Outreach Programs as a supporting member of the Science Education Programs department of the Society for Science (Society).
This is a non-exempt position.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee usually works in an office setting. Our office is located near the Dupont Circle and Farragut North Metro stations. Society for Science is operating on a hybrid work schedule. This position is based in the DC metropolitan area.
This is a full-time (37.5 hr/wk), non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal office hours of the Society. The normal business hours of the Society are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST, with core hours of 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST.
The salary range is $50,000-$55,000
