Job summary

Snapology is seeking a part-time Instructor to teach STEM programs and promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving in children aged 2–14. You will collaborate with leadership and communicate professionally with parents and children.

Responsibilities include leading groups, monitoring materials, managing behavior, and preparing for each session. Training and curriculum are provided, with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Criminal and Child Clearances must be current.
• 2+ years of experience working with children in classroom or camp.
• Education degree or teaching experience recommended; pursuing a degree considered.
• Ability to establish cooperative working relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Reliable, punctual and able to report to work regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of up to 24 students through curriculum-guided activities.
• Instruct and monitor students in learning materials and equipment.
• Manage student behavior by enforcing rules and procedures.
• Maintain discipline per Snapology rules.
• Monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies.
• Prepare for each program by reviewing curriculum and training.
• Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs.
• Encourage enrollment in future programs.
• Participate in Snapology training and staff meetings.
