Snapology of Evergreen Park is seeking a dedicated STEM teacher to lead engaging educational programs for children aged 2-14. The instructor will emphasize creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving while guiding groups of up to 20 students.
This part-time position typically requires between 6-30 hours of work per week, including after-school classes, weekend workshops, and special events. Candidates must have relevant experience and clearances to ensure a safe learning environment.
The primary focus of an STEM teacher will be to teach Snapology programs. Teachers are asked to promote creativity, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills while educating students on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) concepts. Programs are conducted for children ages 2-14, although not all instructors are required to teach all age groups. This role requires internal collaboration and communication with Snapology leadership as well as representing the Snapology organization to parents & children with a high degree of professionalism.
This position is part-time. Depending on candidate availability and the time of year, STEM Instructor typically work between 6-30 hours per week.
