Job summary

Uncommon Schools seeks Deans of Curriculum & Instruction to lead data-driven instruction and support teachers and instructional leaders across campuses. Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching experience with evidence of outstanding student growth and achievement.
• Demonstrated instructional coaching capabilities that contribute to teacher growth and development.
• Strong content knowledge across multiple gradespans or content areas.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven instruction by analyzing student work and guiding action plans.
• Provide real-time feedback to teachers and inform mid-year reviews.
• Plan and deliver high-quality professional development for staff.
• Coach ILs and collaborate with the Principal to set high-leverage goals.
• Support with school-wide data response and curriculum initiatives.
• Collaborate across roles to maximize student achievement and teacher development.
