Greenstone Biosciences is seeking an early-career scientist in Palo Alto to join an interdisciplinary team advancing drug discovery with iPSC-derived models. The role focuses on genetic engineering of pluripotent stem cells, differentiation into cardiac lineages, and collaboration across stem cell biology, chemistry and clinical research.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor, Master or PhD in Life Sciences or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience with PhD or 5+ years with BSc/MSc.
• Experience with iPS cells maintenance and multi-lineage differentiation (cardiac lineage preferred).
• Experience with mouse models and mouse handling.
• Familiarity with genome editing (CRISPR/Cas9) and functional genomics strategies.
• Experience with high-throughput plate-based techniques.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate or carryout genetic engineering of pluripotent stem cells for downstream applications to advance therapeutic programs.
• Perform characterization experiments, drug screening, make detailed scientific observations, analyze data, interpret and present results and record results.
• Develop scalable, fully or semi-automated workflows for iPSC-derived cell model platforms in collaboration with the team.
• Collaborate in developing model systems based on iPSCs differentiated into multiple cell types relevant to ongoing research.
• Publication of work is highly encouraged.
