Job summary

Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Picower Institute Tsai Lab seeks a STEM CELL PROJECT MANAGER AND SCIENTIST to lead a large iPSC-based drug screening initiative. Qualifications

• PhD in neuroscience, bioengineering, or related field required.
• Minimum of three years of post-doctoral training in stem cell biology or neuroscience or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a large research laboratory.
• Expertise with stem cell technology including iPSC-based drug screening.
• Proven management skills (time management and project planning).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to promote collaboration.
• Experience analyzing data and presenting results for publication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lab operations and manage personnel (post-docs, students, technicians).
• Develop and optimize models; oversee large-scale iPSC-based drug screening initiatives.
• Coordinate and supervise team members in pre-clinical drug screening and de-risking projects.
• Manage external collaborations and ensure project milestones are met.
