Job summary

GC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate/Associate Scientist to advance iPSC culture, engineering, and scale-up for cell therapy products. The role emphasizes GMP readiness, robust data handling, and collaboration across R&D, QA, and manufacturing.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience in iPSC culture, differentiation, flow cytometry, and 2D/3D culture systems, with a strong track record in documentation and process improvement within regulated environments.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in cell biology, biomedical engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of industry experience.
• Strong expertise in iPSC culture and differentiation, and single cell cloning.
• Experience with flow cytometry and microscopy.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D iPSC cultures and product differentiation.
• Experience with GMP, documentation systems, and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Culture iPSC lines including maintenance and analysis.
• Perform cell engineering on iPSCs to generate products for cell therapies.
• Execute experiments to optimize cell engineering processes for iPSCs and iPSC-derived cells.
• Maintain a detailed laboratory journal, summarize results, and create presentations.
• Troubleshoot iPSC line engineering challenges, improving process robustness for GMP readiness.
• Contribute to product characterization assays and regulatory support documents.
