Job summary

Black Rocket Productions LLC is seeking enthusiastic, motivated individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our after-school programs. Lead Instructors guide students through our world class project based learning curriculum to learn new technology skills in coding, Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, game design and more!

This is a seasonal, part-time, hourly position with paid training. Hours are after school (roughly 2:00–5:00), M-F, in the Santa Clarita area, with summer opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience with technology or teaching preferred.
• Reliable transportation throughout Saugus school district.
• Available after school hours (approximately 2:00 - 5:00), M-F; opportunities to work 35+ hours/week in the summer.
• Lead Instructors must be at least 21 years old and have experience working with children ages 8-14 and/or technology.
• Experience with children in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with teacher-to-student ratios of 12/1.
• Strong technology skills such as 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game design or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead Instructors guide students through project-based learning curriculum.
• Provide in-room technology experiences for students.
• Participate in paid training.
• Mentor students during after-school sessions.
• Assist with seasonal program delivery and planning.
