Job summary

Black Rocket Productions LLC. is hiring Lead Instructors for after-school technology programs in Santa Clarita, CA. You will guide students through a project-based curriculum, teaching coding, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing, game design, and more in a hands-on setting.

Work after school hours, roughly 2:00–5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential for 35+ hours per week in the summer. Prior teaching experience is preferred; paid training is provided; must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work in-room with students aged 8-14 in a classroom setting
• Assist with setup and transport of equipment as needed

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals towork as Lead Instructors in our after school programs. Leadinstructors guide students through our world class project basedlearning curriculum to learn new technology skills in coding,Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, game design and more!

Full school year in 6-8 week sessions, with options to continueinto additional seasons for the full school year and summer

Get in-room technology experience with excited students

PAID training!

No formal experience required, but teaching experience in somecapacity highly preferred

Requirements

Experience with technology or teaching preferred

Reliable transportation throughout Saugus school district

Lead Instructors must be at least 21 years of age and haveexperience working with children ages 8-14 and/or technology

Comfortable working with teacher-to-student ratios of 12/1

Strong technology skills preferred, such as a background in 3Dmodeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design,animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitivegaming, etc. or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox,including modding or streaming

Ability to transport equipment weighing up to 25 pounds daily as needed

This is a seasonal, part-time, hourly position

Lead Instructors earn $20/hr - $28/hr
