Job summary

All Things Science in Irvine is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead after school STEM classes, guiding students through creative projects and helping them see science in a new way.

You will teach hands-on lessons, keep a dynamic classroom running smoothly, and encourage curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Travel to Irvine-area sites is required. Paid training and prep support, plus a mission-driven team, are offered.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with kids and making learning fun.
• Experience in classrooms, camps, tutoring, or similar youth programs is a plus, and we provide training.
• Reliable, flexible, and open to trying new teaching strategies.
• Interest in STEM, education, or both.

Responsibilities

• Teach hands on science and engineering lessons using our prepared curriculum.
• Keep a dynamic classroom running smoothly from start to finish.
• Encourage curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
• Work weekday afternoons, typically starting around 1:00 PM.
• Travel to one or more school sites in the Irvine area.
