Job summary

All Things Science in Costa Mesa is seeking an enthusiastic instructor to lead after-school STEM classes. You will guide students through hands-on projects, foster curiosity, and help develop problem-solving skills in a supportive environment.

We offer paid training, a mission-driven team, and opportunities to build valuable teaching experience while making a real impact in the community. Classes run weekday afternoons starting around 1:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and making learning enjoyable.
• Some experience with students helps, and we provide training and support.
• Reliable, organized, and open to feedback.
• Interest in teaching and hands on science.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands on STEM lessons using our provided curriculum.
• Create a safe, engaging classroom environment each session.
• Build curiosity, collaboration, and clear thinking.
• Work weekday afternoons that begin around 1:00 PM.
• Travel to one or more nearby schools in the Costa Mesa area.
