Job summary

All Things Science in Newport Beach seeks an enthusiastic instructor to lead after-school STEM classes. You will guide students through hands-on projects, fostering problem-solving and curiosity as you demonstrate the excitement of science.

The role involves facilitating lessons, maintaining a safe classroom, and traveling to local schools in the Newport Beach area, with training and support provided.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and making learning enjoyable.
• Some experience with students helps, and we provide training and support.
• Reliable, organized, and open to feedback.
• Interest in teaching and hands on science.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands on STEM lessons using our provided curriculum.
• Create a safe, engaging classroom environment each session.
• Build curiosity, collaboration, and clear thinking.
• Work weekday afternoons that begin around 1:00 PM.
• Travel to one or more nearby schools in the Newport Beach area.
