Job summary

You will support readiness assessments, GD&T, and packaging studies while ensuring cost, weight, and timing targets are met. Travel is possible up to 25% for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) is required.
• Knowledge of steering design principles and vehicle dynamics.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools and model-based development.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and develop steering components meeting cost, mass, and performance goals.
• Create readiness assessments for program gates and summarize key issues.
• Validate designs using analytical tools and simulations.
• Collaborate with CAE, Vehicle Architecture, Manufacturing and other teams.
• Release components to meet subsystem and system requirements.
• Participate in packaging studies and VCIT meetings to resolve issues.
