Perform geometric dimension and tolerancing (GD& T) stack up studies and apply GD& T techniques to ensure that all parts will fit, form, and function when components are manufactured and assembled.

Study manufacturing feasibility, design, and development of steering components that can be manufactured with minimized complexity.

Study serviceability and design steering components with easy tool access. Supports/Leads PDT (product development team) for component/subsystems (e.g. timing, parts list, DFM) Validates design using analytical tools including finite element, modal, virtual builds and others at component level Collaboration with the downstream Designing Engineer to allow them to successfully source and validate components and systems for production.
