General Motors is seeking an Engineering Designer to develop integrated, high-quality engine designs and to translate requirements into robust Siemens NX models. The role emphasizes manufacturability, design-for-assembly, and accurate data release for the Engine space at the Warren Tech Center.

You will work with design leads, manufacturing, and partners to ensure durability, performance, and production readiness while operating in a Hybrid setup with on-site expectations at least three days per

Qualifications

• Two to five years of automotive CAD/design experience.
• Demonstrated Siemens NX parametric modeling and design intent.
• Understanding of load paths, stiffness, joints, reinforcements, and interfaces.
• Ability to maintain traceability from requirements through design reviews and release.

Responsabilités

• Develop robust Siemens NX parametric models for components and subsystems.
• Create virtual vehicle integration solutions aligned with program requirements and interfaces.
• Establish hard points, packaging zones, clearances, and service access points.
• Apply structural design fundamentals: stiffness, strength, fatigue, buckling, and reinforcements.
• Perform NX Analysis and use results to guide design decisions with team support.
• Design for manufacturability and assembly from the start of the design process.
• Plan and track work against design sync points and release milestones.
