General Motors seeks an AVD Steering Design Release Engineer to define requirements, design, analyze, and release complex steering subsystems. You will work with CAE, Vehicle Architecture, Manufacturing, and other teams to deliver high-quality components, using NX CAD within TeamCenter, and perform readiness assessments for program gates.

Candidates should have 3+ years in steering or suspension, a B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and experience with GD&T and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in Steering or Suspension Systems.
• Experience with NX CAD and CAE tools.
• Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing feasibility.

Responsabilités

• Define requirements and design of steering components.
• Perform GD&T stack-up studies and geometry checks.
• Collaborate with CAE, Manufacturing, and other teams.
• Prepare readiness assessments for program gates.
