The Food Runner is a vital link between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring that dishes are delivered accurately, promptly, and with proper presentation. Food Runners maintain the highest standards of hospitality by assisting servers, supporting table service, and ensuring the guest experience is seamless. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy shifts, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
• Ensure that all food presentations meet our quality and presentation standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to clarify orders and address any issues or special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service areas and dining room.
• Assist with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
• Uphold health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Be a team player and support fellow staff members to create a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Fine Dining experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A passion for food and customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift up to 25 pounds.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to carry trays of up to 40 lbs. safely.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive motions during service.
