Job summary

Paycom, a manufacturing facility in Trinity, AL, is seeking a Receiving Technician to validate inbound steel shipments, perform inspections, and document results. You will work with calipers, micrometers, and tape measures, and operate a forklift and overhead crane as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with measuring devices: tape measure, micrometer, calipers.
• Valid forklift operator license and ability to operate forklifts safely.
• Training and proficiency in overhead cranes and related inspections.
• Ability to identify and locate loads for staging; strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound steel and verify shipping documents.
• Perform receiving inspections for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and calibration of testing/measuring equipment at shift start.
• Review inbound shipment schedules at shift start.
• Adhere to safety protocols and attendance policies.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed.
