Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking a skilled Millwright with welding capabilities to support our maintenance division during fall shutdowns.

The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial machinery across steel mills and related facilities; you will troubleshoot mechanical systems and perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

Safety is paramount; you will work in a fast-paced, high-elevation environment, read blueprints, and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Experience maintaining industrial equipment in heavy industries.
• Welding experience across MIG, TIG and Stick welding.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment across multiple heavy industries.
• Perform welding and fabrication to repair parts and structures.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Assist installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements on site.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly.
