Olympic Steel is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Minneapolis, MN to maintain and grow existing accounts in an assigned territory. You will respond to inquiries, discuss material requirements, and propose value-added options to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Production Planning and Sales teams, addressing delivery issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly pay range of $23–$27 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related sales experience
• 1+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of steel industry and product knowledge a plus
• Skilled at customer service and sales
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing accounts in an assigned territory
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely, courteous manner
• Discuss material and processing requirements with customers and propose value-added options
• Identify substitute materials when not available and coordinate with internal teams
