Job summary

You will perform material take-offs, prepare and support quotes, create cutting lists from BOMs in Excel, and convert DXF/DWG to CNC programs while managing purchasing and vendor relationships to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with 2D AutoCAD (2020) for burning table operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, email, documents).
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of steel types and materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform material take-offs from customer drawings.
• Estimate steel materials and assist with quoting.
• Prepare and support customer quotes.
• Maintain steel, hardware, and paint inventory.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory levels.
• Create cutting lists from bills of material in Excel.
• Develop work instructions and routing processes.
• Convert DXF/DWG files into CNC programs.
• Process job travelers and customer orders.
• Create purchase orders in JobBoss.
• Review part prints prior to ordering.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Procure materials, hardware, and paint for jobs.
