The role emphasizes creating a startup guide, a 1-2 month look-ahead schedule, and coordinating labor, materials, and equipment while reading contracts and building strong relationships with owners, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 10+ years of experience in the construction field as a Supervisor.
• Expertise with self-perform steel erection scopes of significant size.
• Proficient with Microsoft suite applications, in addition to familiarity with Primavera and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Create the project start-up guide & quality assurance program.
• Build a 1-2 month look ahead work schedule.
• Schedule labor, materials, equipment and is knowledgeable on EWM procedures.
• Experience with the purchase of project construction materials.
• Read and understand contracts with both owners and subcontractors.
• Develops and maintains relationships with owners, engineers, craft workforce and other contractors.
• Participates in project planning meetings.
• Sets sequence and directions for field and subcontractor work forces.
• Ability to assist PM on estimating change orders.
• Ability to prepare and sequence site logistics within budget and schedule restraint.
• Foresees and mitigates schedule conflicts with subcontractors and self-performed work.
