Span Construction & Engineering, Inc. seeks a Construction Lead Person (Steel Erection) to supervise Employee-Owners on steel erection projects. You will work with the Superintendent and Foreman to guide crews safely, efficiently, and on schedule on pre-engineered buildings.

This entry-level supervisory role offers leadership experience, mentorship, and a clear pathway toward a Foreman position. ESOP ownership and strong safety culture are core to the team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; experience may substitute.
• 5 years of trade experience in pre-engineered steel erection.
• OSHA 30, First Aid; valid driver’s license; insured driver.
• Ability to read construction drawings/plans.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise Employee-Owners to meet safety, quality, and schedule goals.
• Support Superintendent and Foreman in onboarding and training.
• Direct crew to complete scope per project plans and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and site rules.
• Coordinate with inspectors and adapt to drawing updates.
