Job summary

Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking a Foreman I to supervise construction crews and coordinate steel erection and installation projects on site. You will lead ironworkers, welders, and operators to ensure work proceeds safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on oversight of daily activities, safety meetings, tool and material management, and quality checks to meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising ironworkers, welders, and equipment operators.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and incident prevention.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Crew supervision: lead construction crews to ensure plans, specs, and safety protocols are followed.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to keep work on time and within budget.
• Safety compliance: enforce regulations and conduct toolbox talks and inspections.
• Quality control: perform inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet standards.
• Material & equipment management: coordinate delivery, storage, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Communication: serve as primary contact between project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and crews.
