Job summary

Lexicon, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and client requirements.

The role demands strong leadership, coordination with erectors, and meticulous documentation to drive project success. The incumbent will manage contract fulfillment, change orders, pay applications, and onsite coordination while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with steel fabrication and erection.
• Familiarity with AISC and OSHA requirements.
• Detail oriented with strong oral and written communication.
• Understand financial aspects of a construction project.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage all contractual responsibilities on the construction project including client communication, schedule, deliveries, documentation, document control, cost control, change orders, and coordination onsite.
• Serve as primary contact with the customer.
• Understand project scope, specifications, drawings, budget, and specific scope of work.
• Oversee coordination with erector, change orders, and back charges.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed project schedule and shop issues.
• Submit pay applications and track payments.
• Ensure timely responses to technical submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinate scope changes with client, detailer, fabrication shop and erector.
• Write and maintain weekly project status reports for client communication.
• Work overtime as required.
