Job summary

Drew Charter School seeks a dedicated Makerspace Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, equipment maintenance, scheduling, and staffing of the Makerspace. You will support teachers in project-based learning and engineering projects, organize materials, and promote STEAM Trunk programs while designing student exhibits.

You will lead after-school clubs, train student workers and volunteers, and serve as the primary liaison for technology support and facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 1-3 years work-related experience required.
• Two years of progressively responsible Maker experience or equivalent.
• Design software proficiency: TinkerCAD, AutoDesk, Adobe Suite, Meshy AI, OnShape.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of the Makerspace, including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and staffing.
• Lead after-school programs and exhibits of student work.
• Promote Makerspace and STEAM Trunk programs; maintain records and safety.
• Serve as liaison for technology support and facilities maintenance; train staff and volunteers.
