Qualifications

• Qualified CPA or CPA candidate preferred with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in the life insurance or annuity business with a background in STAT or GAAP.
• Proficient with general ledger software and excellent excel skills.
• Strong problem solving structuring and influencing senior leaders.
• Experience in dynamic, transformational environments with opportunities to drive process improvements.
• Demonstrated business and financial acumen and change/project management skills.
• Able to lead and influence across teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversight for timely delivery of the quarterly and annual statutory analytics package for each insurance subsidiary.
• Oversee the statutory reporting of various subsidiaries with accuracy.
• Collaborate to prepare and review key financial statement disclosures.
• Work with Controllership, IT, Finance Center to reflect complex transactions and resolve quarter-end issues.
