Qualifications

• Qualified CPA or CPA candidate preferred with 7+ years in the life insurance or annuity business.
• Proficient with general ledger software and excellent Excel skills.
• Strong problem solving, structuring and influencing senior leaders.
• Experience in dynamic, transformational environments driving process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage change, financial acumen and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely delivery of quarterly and annual statutory analytics for the company’s insurance subsidiaries.
• Oversee statutory reporting of various subsidiaries and ensure accuracy.
• Partner with Controllership, Systems/IT, and Finance Center to reflect complex transactions in statutory statements.
• Identify issues during quarter close and drive timely resolution with feedback for improvements.
• Strengthen control environment and develop automated solutions as the finance function transforms.
• Support major projects and ad hoc activities, including acquisitions and capital transactions.
