Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Stator Winder B operations learner in Charlotte, NC. The role involves hands-on learning of all operations, working with tooling and equipment to wind, block, band, resin mix, clean, braze, insulate and prepare for heat cycles (GVPI).

The candidate should have a high school education, 4+ years in industrial-mechanical work preferred, and be able to pass safety and licensing requirements. Gas Services supports decarbonization and low-emission power generation.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and complete simple forms.
• Proficiency with shop tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to pass hearing, vision and pulmonary tests.
• Willingness to be fit to wear a respirator and obtain a forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Learn all operations of a Stator Winder B.
• Become familiar with tooling and equipment.
• Wind, block, band, mix resin, clean, braze, insulate and set up for heat cycle (GVPI).
