Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC seeks a Stator Winder B to perform intermediate winding, blocking and banding on large generator stators. You will prepare resin, set up for heat-cycle processing, and verify quality with precision instruments.

You will also run grinders, drills, sanders, and hand tools, operate forklifts and overhead cranes, and mentor junior operators while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift Operator License and Overhead Crane License, or ability to obtain and maintain certification.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment and interpreting basic manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level winding, blocking, and banding operations on large generator stators.
• Prepare, apply resin, and set up stators for heat-cycle processing.
• Operate shop tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, and hand tools.
• Inspect product quality using precision measuring instruments for dimensional compliance.
• Move materials and finished components using forklifts and overhead cranes.
