Job summary

Siemens Gas and Power GmbH & Co. KG in Charlotte, NC seeks a Stator Winder B to learn all operations of the winding process and set up for heat cycles. You will become familiar with tooling and equipment and perform wind, block, band, resin mixing, cleaning, brazing and insulation for cycle readiness.

The role requires basic math, ability to read/write forms, and compliance with safety tests; forklift license may be needed. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 4+ years industrial-mechanical experience preferred.
• Proficiency with shop tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Basic math, reading/writing simple forms; pass hearing, vision, pulmonary tests.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Become familiar with all tooling and equipment.
• Wind, block, band, mix resin, clean, braze, insulate and set-up for heat cycle (GVPI).

What You Bring

• High school education or equivalent.
• Prefer to have a candidate with 4 or more years of industrial-mechanical experience.
• Proficiency with shop tools and ability to use precision measuring equipment.
• Basic math skills. Ability to read, write, and complete simple forms. Successful applicants must be able to pass hearing, vision and pulmonary test.
• Operator must be able to be fit to wear a respirator. Must be able to obtain a fork truck license.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
