Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an On-Site Repair Winder-Apprentice to support generator stator and field repairs while undergoing required training. You will work under the winding work-leader, perform measurements, assist with tooling setup, and help maintain a safe work environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED with related training or experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work rotating shifts. The position offers comprehensive health benefits and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years classroom training in Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Technology or equivalent job experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repairs of generator stator and field equipment under supervision.
• Record measurements and assist in tooling setup.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and comply with safety policies.
• Complete daily time records and participate in safety observations.
