Job summary

Delta Air Lines in New York is seeking a Ground Maintenance Mechanic (Motorized) to join its Ground Support Equipment team. This role requires 6 months of hands-on experience in vehicle or heavy equipment maintenance and familiarity with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will perform inspections, repairs, and component changes, support a lead technician, and enter data to track work.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Applies tooling, equipment and material for minor maintenance on Ground Support Equipment.
• Assists a Lead Ground Maintenance Technician on motorized equipment.
• Completes data entry to record work assignments and coordinates with Delta personnel.
