Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) seeks a Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations in Elk Grove, CA. You will supervise staff, coordinate payroll, maintain safety and service standards, manage inventory, and enforce CSI policies.

Strong English communication and leadership are essential. The role requires prior managerial experience in retail or a fuel environment, flexibility for varied shifts, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting while ensuring customer focus and loss

Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and to communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Previous managerial experience in a retail, food service or fuel environment.
• Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally, exercising good judgement.
• Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
• High School graduate or equivalent and a minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail facility as it relates to effectively running the business and managing employee matters.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, manage performance and administer appropriate discipline.
• Maintain station performance and stability including employees, compliance, safety, finances, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal wage & hourly requirements.
• Follow safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies and programs.
• Preserve safety of self and others via Loss Prevention processes.
• Maintain courteous, professional contact with staff, customers, vendors and community.
• Manage daily operations covering customer service, stocking, cleaning and food-service.
• Coordinate with other stations, conduct audits, manage cash and payroll, monitor expenses.
• Communicate with Business Consultant and cover resource gaps as needed.
