Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. (CSI) seeks a Store Operations/CSR role to support daily store activities, supervise staff in the Station Manager’s absence, and ensure safe, compliant operations. Candidates should be able to lead shifts, train CSRs, and uphold CSI policies in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes cash handling, inventory coordination, and strong customer service, with flexible hours and opportunities within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand policies, safety training, and instructions.
• Experience in fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment with cash handling and customer service.
• Experience operating a cash register, computer console, and related equipment and software.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements for food storage and serving.
• Available to work varied hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and handle difficult situations professionally.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• High School graduate or equivalent and minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager in day-to-day operations of the retail facility.
• Maintain oversight of station operations and staff in the Station Manager’s absence.
• Provide direction, motivation and coaching to staff during shifts.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality guidelines and company policies; respond to incidents promptly.
• Ensure wage and hour guidelines are followed and cash handling procedures adhered to.
• Support CSI Loss Prevention processes and use transactional equipment to process transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and operation of food service equipment and assist CSRs as needed.
• Communicate issues to Station Manager and keep Business Consultant informed in absence of Station Manager.
• Perform CSR duties and other tasks as assigned.
