Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Station Operations Manager for Ocean Forwarding in the United States to lead and coach a team, minimize dwell times at origin and destination, and ensure timely and accurate financial tasks. You will be the 2nd level escalation for service issues and support other leaders during peak periods or absences.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in freight forwarding with strong financial acumen.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Knowledgeable on Freight Forwarding operations & finances.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach direct reports; conduct regular 1:1s.
• Participate in Voice of Customer results and document CAPA with stakeholder guidance.
• Monitor dwell times; manage Export Origin and Import Destination targets.
• Ensure bonds are closed promptly and conduct export clearance audits.
• Drive financial execution; enter cost accruals timely in CargoWise; manage revenue accruals.
• Maintain proactive communication with the network and leadership; support cross-functional teams.
