Job summary

Maersk in Charlotte, NC seeks a Station Manager to lead operations teams, control costs, and coordinate cross-functional support during peak periods and leaves. You will ensure timely financial tasks and customer-focused outcomes.

You will coach teams, drive dwell targets, monitor compliance, and collaborate with CX, Commercial, and Finance to sustain performance and sustain a high standard of operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Quantitative experience of 8+ years of experience.
• Knowledgeable on Freight Forwarding operations & finances.
• Experience with CargoWise One software.
• Domestic travel is expected for <15% of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop operations teams with regular 1v1 sessions and accountability.
• Collaborate on Voice of Customer results; document CAPA with stakeholders.
• Monitor Dwell targets for Export and Import; focus on transit performance.
• Ensure bonds closed promptly and Export clearance audits completed.
• Drive healthy financial execution; timely cost accruals and Soft Close KPI adherence.
• Be proactive, uphold Maersk values, and provide clear communication across the network.
