Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. is seeking a reliable team member to support daily store operations and staff supervision at our Martinez, CA locations.

You will assist the Station Manager, ensure safe, accurate cash handling, and deliver strong customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires English proficiency, a high school diploma, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand policies, safety training and instructions.
• Experience in fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environments with cash handling and customer service.
• Experience operating a cash register, computer console and related equipment or software.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards for food storage and serving.
• Willingness to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager with day-to-day operations and staff supervision.
• Oversee station operations in the Station Manager’s absence and provide coaching.
• Ensure safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies are followed.
• Handle cash/money procedures and maintain loss prevention practices.
• Perform CSR duties as needed and support inventory and store maintenance.
