Job summary

Public Service Co. of OK seeks a Station Electrician to maintain, service, and test electrical distribution equipment across our facilities. The role involves reading prints, selecting drawings, and performing energized work up to 260 volts under supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical/mechanical/industrial maintenance technology or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Equivalent education and experience limited to military training and work experience of technical/technician nature; or recent experience as a Station Electrician or equivalent.
• No previous work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records and prepare and submit reports as required.
• Work on energized equipment up to 260 volts.
• Assist in disassembling and maintaining station transformers and equipment.
• Read prints and drawings; select proper prints for various work.
