Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our Indianapolis kitchen team. You will prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides, while training and directing Line Cooks to execute tasks efficiently.

You will ensure cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of work areas and equipment, set up stations with required mis en place, and communicate any changes to assignments throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook.
• Ability to lead and train kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Direct, train, and monitor performance of Line Cooks and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks and review priorities.
• Communicate changes in assignments during the shift.
• Set up work stations with mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies; breakdown work stations and complete closing duties.
• Inform the Sous Chef of supplies needed for the day’s tasks.
