Job summary

American Dining Creations in Rootstown, Ohio is seeking a Station Cook to set up, prepare, and serve menu items across Grill, Pizza, Deli, Salad Bar, and Seasonal stations. Deliver high-quality food and friendly service to guests.

You will follow safety standards, maintain logs, restock, operate the POS when needed, and collaborate with teammates to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality/food service experience.
• Basic knife skills a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow standards to prepare and serve menu offerings for designated station(s).
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays safely between work areas while following safety guidelines.
• Serve food and any goods per guest specifications.
• Store foods with proper wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Retain temperature logs and production records.
• Keep supplies stocked and assist with inventory as directed.
• Set up and break down stations; sanitize equipment and utensils.
• Adhere to state and local food safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with guests.
• Operate POS to complete orders when required.

Location: Rootstown, Ohio

Summary: A Station Cook with American Dining Creations ensures exceptional dining through the set up, preparation, and serving of menu offerings to our guests. Stations may include Grill, Pizza, Deli, SaladBar, Seasonal, and Specialty menu items. By providing outstanding service, a smile, and amazing food,our Station Cooks create a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Follow standards to prepare and serve menu offerings for designated station(s).
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator inaccordance with established safety standards.
• Serve food and any goods per guest specifications.
• Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotationprocedures.
• Retains temperature logs and production records in an efficient manner.
• Keep supplies replenished, may restock coolers, and take inventory as directed.
• Set-up and breakdown stations, clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, dishes for designatedworkstation.
• Adhere to all state and local food production, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Remain focused on customer satisfaction through providing excellent service to all guests,clients, and team members.
• Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner.
• Be efficient and organized.
• May operate POS to complete orders, and package “to go” items.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.

• This position requires lifting 30lbs unassisted, bending, walking, climbing stairs, and standing forscheduled shifts.
