Job summary

American Food & Vending is seeking a Station Cook for our American Dining Creations team in Carmel, Indiana. You will set up, prepare, and serve menu items across stations such as Grill, Pizza, Deli, and Salad Bar, delivering guest-focused dining experiences with a smile.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3PM with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Previous hospitality or food service experience is preferred, and we offer weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality/food service experience.
• Basic knife skills a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and eager to take on responsibilities.

• Willingness to cross-train and utilize skills.
• Safety- and detail-oriented.
• This role requires lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, walking, and standing for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow standards to prepare and serve menu offerings for designated station(s).
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays to and from workstations in accordance with safety standards.
• Serve food and goods per guest specifications.
• Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation procedures.
• Retain temperature logs and production records efficiently.
• Keep supplies replenished; may restock coolers and take inventory.
• Set up and breakdown stations; clean and sanitize equipment and utensils.
• Adhere to all state and local food production, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Listen well and communicate professionally.
• Be efficient and organized.
• May operate POS to complete orders and package to-go items.
• May be assigned other duties as needed.

Summary: A Station Cook with American Dining Creations ensures exceptional dining through the set up, preparation, and serving of menu offerings to our guests. Stations may include Grill, Pizza, Deli, SaladBar, Seasonal, and Specialty menu items. By providing outstanding service, a smile, and amazing food,our Station Cooks create a memorable dining experience for our guests.
