Job summary

Colorado Pet Pantry is seeking a Program & Volunteer Manager to lead statewide volunteer networks and support Front Range pet food pantry programs. You will collaborate with volunteers, pantry leads, staff, and community partners to ensure effective, welcoming, and responsive service.

The role focuses on volunteer leadership, field operations, and systems management, balancing consistency with flexibility to align with our mission and service standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of volunteer coordination, nonprofit, or community engagement experience.
• Experience leading and motivating volunteers or teams.
• Strong technology aptitude; comfortable with multiple software platforms.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with pantry leads statewide to support program delivery.
• Coordinate Front Range programs and ensure adequate staffing.
• Design and implement a formal volunteer lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, training).
• Maintain volunteer coverage across programs and improve communication.
• Oversee volunteer functions across operations, outreach, and events.
• Develop training materials, SOPs, and playbooks.
• Act as liaison between volunteers, pantry leads, and internal teams.
