Job summary

VIP Petcare is seeking an Assistant Field Operations Manager to supervise field office operations and clinics. You will oversee administration, facilities, inventory, and staffing at a specific location while ensuring consistent service delivery across partner sites.

The role requires experience with pets, HR concepts, accounting basics, and operations management, with a focus on coordinating with the Field Operations Manager and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with pets and handling various temperaments is preferred.
• Basic HR principles, accounting/maths, and operations management with best practices required.
• Post-secondary education in business/management or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field office operations, administration, facilities, and inventory.
• Support recruiting, hiring, training, disciplining, and evaluating staff at a location.
• Manage offices and clinics as directed and ensure consistent service delivery.
• Build relationships with host location staff and outreach groups within field office oversight.
• Communicate with Field Operations Manager to align SOPs and service delivery.
• Collaborate on business opportunities related to partner locations.
• Travel to community clinics and HQ as needed for business initiatives.
• Support weekend clinics and field operations duties as assigned.
